    1300 grp transplant ???

    I have a complete 1300r motor form an 07 it is fuel injected. I have the Tank and pump the speedo and all the electrics. My question is how hard is this transplant into an older p/v gpr. Im trying to decide to sell everything or buy a pretty cheap hull and have a quick little ski. Are the pumps and shafts the same and is the 1300 fuel injected motor to much for the older hull desigh.

    it can be done if you really wanted an EFI setup but it would be a little bit of work, i think the wiring harnesses' may have differences as well.

    you cant put non pv cylinders on a pv bottom end so you would have to do a full swap.

    1300 f/i motor

    seems like too much headache for me, has anyone put carbs on these? does the ignition have to change? or swap everything for the 1200? Any other idea's?

    if you have all the parts it is not that big a change, once you have the motor out everything else would go easy

    the 2 ignitions etc are different so 1200 stuff goes with carbed motor

    1300 stuff goes with throttle body mootor
