gains 1mph to 1.5mph
I will be selling a wedge for the 155 mm pumps will work on gpr,xll,xlt,sho,fzr,fx,fxho,vx this is a cnc machined wedge that has the outer lip and inner inverted lip so it fits perfect with no internal gap also has been machined cut on the bottom to fit a angled plate.has been tested back to back on 4 gpr's with gains from 1mph to 1.5mph.also a couple of ski's had a small bounce on speed run's that the wedge got rid of.also tested it ona heavy xll that gained over 1mph.and handled great.i am sending one to jerry to be tested on his fzr.selling the wedge for $189.00 if you have any questions about my product please contact me at 813 407 9348.thanks leo

Niceee ! just a wild thought...has anyone ever tried installing one of these upside down to see if it would increase rough water hook up or would it handle wayy to dangerous...just throwing the idea around for offshore riders :/

Leo, which nozzle did you try this with? How much of a degree change does the wedge provide?

Back to back to back on my 1390 ski was 1+ mph.. Handling gain was huge. Cant wait to try it tabless. My ski went 84.4 in the heat and salt with me on it.
Think about it. The factory 5 degree exit nozzle was designed for the factory plate angle. We have raised the angle of the plate dramatically and done nothing to equally raise the angle of the water out of the pump.
I think this is what causes the classic (bounce) at hi speed. The plate is at one angle, and the water exiting the pump is at a different angle, and they fight one another. The plate tries to raise the ski, and the jet out of the pump pushes it back down.
It also increases the volume of the exit nozzle which seems to add accelleration. Leos 1300 was a rocket on accelleration with this on it.
