    Air intake, riva v.s. Diy kanaflex

    Is the DIY kanaflex the way to go or should i get the RIVA , my boy said he has a used riva he could sell me, i thought it was the 4' kanaflex that was DABOMB....... its for an 08 X

    I think the riva is a 3" setup, perhaps your boy is selling it so he can get the 4" kanaflex setup lol.

    DIY 4" will have much better flow and can work out cheaper depending on what you decide to do about the catch can.

    Yeah man, there is a big difference, and if you are running stock prop, either re-pitch or get the 15/22 or you will be at the rev limiter and retarding timing bad.

    I am the "boy" I just happend to have a Riva intake laying around!! I dont want the 4 in do it yourself intake!! trust me!!

    The Riva rear air is THE way to go.

    Your X needs more air than the Riva can supply. Go with the kanaflex.
