New 15F has studs hanging 2" from rideplate?

I was getting my 2 new 15f's ready to put in the water for the first time
on Friday and saw a problem

One ski has 2 studs hanging down 2" from the rear rideplate, my other ski
has SS allen bolts in the holes. Any one know if the studs were from shipping? I will call the dealer in the morning and ask if they forgot something
when they prepped the ski. If someone here has seen a 15f getting prepped,
Can you tell me if they remove the studs and replace it with SS Bolts during
    prep?

    Thanks!

There should be nothing hanging down. Do you have a picture?? It seems odd.

I will take some in the morning. The studs are rusty, like they are low
    quality.

    yes... its from shipping

kawasaki bolts to rideplates to the shipping crates with studs and nuts thru the rideplate... and they are supposed to be removed and replaced with allen bolts when prepped

Nice . . . makes ya wonder what else they may have forgotten. Like engine oil? Prob should check oil levels before ya fire 'em up.

Yep, the dealer screwed up. He is out of state, so I will have to find the proper SS allen bolts locally.

I WILL be checking the skis over closely, including the oil level !

    Thanks!

make him mail them to you...he has them...! Then ask him what else he forgot to do...get something out of it...and I wouldn't go back to that dealer...
