Any idea what speed I should be turning?
So far my ski has on it a R&D intake and rideplate (unshimmed and box stock), PPK, Solas 13/19... the other parts listed I have but have not installed them. I plan on getting a Tiny Tach Commercial soon to check rpms... this weekend in 95+ heat and high humidity and with about a 1/4 tank of gas I saw 62mph on the dream-o-meter. Any idea about what speed that would actually equate to?

buy a gps first (garmen forerunner 201) on e-bay about $100.00 plus shipping.

you will never know nor be able to have an equation to figure out what a real speed is compared to the dreamo. Yours may say 62 and you may be doing 68. Or tomorrow you may put an angle on the plate where the sensor is and it may read 130 like mine does.
You need a gps. And put some tape over the dash LCD screen so that you never have to look at that thing.

GPS it is... can anyone make an educated guess as to what a ski like mine should run in its current trim?

2000 XL 1200 Limited
- R&D Intake Grate and Ride Plate
- R&D PPK
- Solas 13/19 Impeller
- Free Flow Exhaust
- Waveeater clips and couplers
- Riva Sponsons
about 63 mph on the gps (assuming 1200cc's with mods you have listed above).
