Pump tunnel reinforcement??
Okay I have a RXT-X with 33 hrs and have become increasingly nervous this past week with all the tunnel cracking and blowouts coming to light. I have checked my ski and see no cracks yet. I want to be proactive and reinforce the tunnel before I have a problem.
I am capable of working with fiberglass, carbon, kevlar, and all the prep work necessary. What I need help with is defining the area to reinforce on the waterside. How far forward? How far back?
What about working around the "seal"? the insert piece the drive shaft passes through with the BRP part #?
Besides the grate what else should I be removing to perform this? I do not want to pull the pump or drive shaft.
What torque do I reinstall the grate bolts at?
I am thinking two layers of hybrid Carbon/ kevlar perpendicular to each other to distribute the fabric's properties evenly.
Answers to these questions and ones I haven't thought of will be appreciated.

I updated the instructions today with a little more clarity. They are also now permanently pinned under Sea Doo- "How To & FAQs"- here's the updated, pinned thread.
