Another finger throttle conversion
Converted my RXT to a finger throttle using the Riva trigger. Had a few issues with the Riva trigger like others but in the end managed to come up with something that works and looks ok I think. This was done using the OEM handlebars, covers and grips.
Here are the photos to show what was done.
Modified the OEM throttle trigger housing. I am going to fill the hole where the throttle cable used to exit and give it another coat of paint.
Had to install some washers to the Riva trigger to act as a spacer to give the lever more travel to get 100% throttle.
OEM throttle housing fitted and exposed section of bar painted black to match.
Top view of everything installed. Trying to get throttle cable out so it does not kink and lines up with the trigger was a PITA. Had to feed it behind the upper clip that holds the handlebar top and bottom covers together, then cut a section of the top cover to feed the cable out to the trigger.
.....and finally view from the back.
Thanks for looking
