    New Pro parts!

Finally got all my new parts in to get my ski how I want it to be. The ADA 91 octane (25cc) head/domes came in today, along with the Renthal 783 bend bars to replace my snapped UMI bars, ODI grips, and 4 gallons of Amsoil Interceptor oil. This should be a fun Memorial Day weekend!

On a side note, would it be wise to open the high speeds some with the higher compression head?

No kidding! I ordered it Monday at about 6pm. Arrived today. I thought this stuff was supposed to be red? Or is that the Dominator oil?

Dominator is red the Interceptor oil is like a yellow. They do not want to put a dye in the oil to help keep things cleaner.

It won't hurt to open your fuel screws abit. Run it rich at first to ensure everything is safe, then go through your tuning and get it where you need it.

Generally speaking though, all you really should need to do is make sure you are running good 91+ fuel. But if your fuel is sub-par and for some reason it would start to detonate the added fuel can help lower temps thus reducing severity of detonation. This is why it won't hurt at first, just to verify everything is gonna work out.

Check your compression with the old head, and then again with the ADA head and domes.

Also, another thing that may play with your jetting is the cooling. Your engine is most likely NOT going to run the same temperatures that it did before and this is another reason for going through your fuel tuning again.

I was just wondering what on earth is this plug for that was included with the fittings? The manifold has a hole one the side, but it is bigger than the plug. Anyone know??

That would make sense, but why wouldn't the plug fit in that hole?

What is that manifold to feed? My manifold feeds all. 2 3/8" fittings for the pto and center head pipes. 1 1/2" for the mag head pipe. 3 more 3/8" for each pipe, and another 3/8" for the stinger cross fitting. You only have 4 outlets. What are they for? Pipes and stinger circuit? I see you have 6 barb fittings. What are you up to?

Three of them go to the manifold and the other three go on the head itself.
