Water strainer opinion and done pictures of the P-X

Here's some pics of the ski... it's done. You can see the skat seal zerk fitting will work perfect.

My only thing I wanted an opinion on is the water strainer.. I have it secured with a couple zip ties, the one I got came with no bracket, and it's not going to be bouncing around or in contact with the hull.... At the worst it might be a pain to get to for easy cleaning...

I have an adjustable nozzle... and a 15/19 skat 3 blade... what size ring should I start out with?? I have them all.,,,

What do you have the strainer tied to? Looks like it's kinda just hangin out there. It'll be a bit heavier once it's full of water.

    Nice setup. Looks real clean.

    Thanks..!

The strainer intake hose is tied to the little water hose that goes to the exhaust, and then again tied to the intake at the main water in line at the bottom of the hull.

Any suggestions on what nozzle to start with??

From what I hear, try the 83 and 82mm rings. Looks like you have pretty hefty investment in mods. How fast are you moving now?

Only thing I would question would be your prop? Just curious, but how come you went with a 15/19 and not the riva 15/22?

Ya, I hear 82 and 83 as well. Just curious, since my mods vary slightly from a true stage one kit... I have a little more stuff done.

I haven't tested it... putting on some new renthal bars right now.

I went with 3 blade because honestly, for now, 75 mph or just under is fine with me. With the x and it's bucking plus I've always been a torque vs. speed guy I just decided to start with that.

HEHE.. I have a brand new 15/22 on the shelf should I change my mind!!!

he's being dead serious. maybe I shouldn't have used the word "dead"? lol I'm messing. but seriously though, search the forum. there's been a mod guys have done to reduce the possibility of the p-x buck. from what I've read, a little bit of your time with save an arm or two

I've been in almost every major thread about this issue... and I was thinking GM knew that and was just giving me a hard time because I've kind of been really paranoid of this issue.

Read my sig.... next to WORX grate...
