This question is relative to what you pull out which varies by your method and how thorough. make sense? I believe the better question would be how high on the dipstick - which can also be inconsistant depending on proceedure. Here we go!

Thanks nicjak, I've been around the forums long enough to have read that...I've just changed over the breather to 08 style, did catch can mod. it always seems no matter what when I change the oil and add 4 quarts I still get 5 out next time even with 8-10 hours...

Hopefully the mods help out with this...

I was just wondering if those only putting in 3.5 are getting by, because that seems where I need to be from what I've been doing...

Yes obviously methods matter. I crank the trailer down, suck it out and let it suck even the last drops for an hour or so while doing other things, so I probably add as much as anybody to get it right
