    carb related questions...

    What type of grease should I be using on the high and low speed adjustment screws on the carbs?

    The only way it seems I will be able to get the T-handle screw into the front carb (high side) is to remove the accelerator pump? Can I not use these on a carb with a accel pump? I am running a completely stock engine ski, minus the oil pump block off, is there a good enough reason to remove the accel pump?

    I have seen people shorten the pin in the t-handle to clear the pump.

    Now the important question, Why are you putting t-Handles on a stock set-up?

    I had ordered them for my previous carbs that had seized up high side adjusters. Now with the new carbs I figured I may as well use them??

    As long as have gone this far why not upgrade the rest and let that thing breath? add some F/A's change the jetting lose the accel pump and will perform way better then new. I am assuming you have removed the Cat Con.

    this is a 800 it was my understanding that these don't have the cat?
    FA's are coming

    800 is different bird all together. I have not messed with the jetting on these, so I do not have much to offer in advice.
