    alarm

    did some work on an 07 rxt...forgot to plug in the waterbox sensor.....ran ski for 5 minutes then plugged sensor back in....but sensor alarm is still coming on......
    is there a way to reset the alarm without taking ski back to dealer.....help

    that's strange, I have done this Bo-Bo before on my RXP. Normally, when I plug in the key, the computer brain scans and if you forget to plug in something in the system....it starts Beeping Hmmm. what code is it throwing at you?

    no code...just says sensor......then beeps when riding.....no overheat problems.....

    did do a waterbox mod.....and added an intercooler....ski runs great

    Then chances are you still have a plug not plug in what else did you do on this ski? You said you added an inter cooler hmmmm....what plugs are we missing here that are not plug in '07 was a reverse of an '04 TOPS plug maybe? I need beer.....I'll be back

    Check the waterbox plug again. make sure you hear and feel a "click" when you plug it in.

    i double checked the plug....all good....
    we lost some coolant...... ( during tear down ) but i refilled as needed....that is the only other thing i can think if

    "During teardown" Let's start from the beginning....what exactly did you do as far as "teardown" I never loose coolant during any waterbox or intercooler change/service

    Coolant spilled out of overflow bottle......

    once that sensor throws that code,i think you have to have a dealer reset it...not positive though.

    You have the oil cooler lines crossed. Or an airpocket in the cooling system.
