    260 Service Cost

    Hi All

My new 260x is due for it's 1st 50hour service.
Had it's first 10 hour service skipped the 25hour service as I think there a bit of a waste of time. I think I will just service it once a year or each 50hours as I a pretty anal about its maintenance and care. Can anyone advise roughly what I am expected to pay ???????

if you are so anal about its service and care i would be servicing it a bit more frequently than 50hrs.
not sure on 260 oil changes but some with 07,08's are changing every 20hrs or less.

I 'm changing mine every 5-10 hours max... But i guess maybe the 260x does not have the gas smell in the oil... Does anyone with the 260x oil smell like gas?

Changeing oil evry 5 to 10 hours will make your boat run forever!!! One thing to also check and you probably know this is the super charger oil. this is a fun 14mm bolt that is hard to get at. I would check as soon as break in is done and then change as mines was somewhat dirty at end of break in and I change every 50 hours.

I would think that the 260 is about the same as the 250 so use the schedule and information here.

I agree.. i think changing the oil more often will def. benefit the engine in the long run.. I will have to check my Supercharger Oil when I hit 10 hours on my Ski.

Manual says pull plugs every 25 hr.

Pull plug at 25 for warranty and put anti seize on them.
