DESS Key Wiring...I'm so close (Please Help)

I own a 2004 RXP. With all of my additional mods I needed a Rotax Racing ECU to get to 8800. In order to be able to tap into the Racing ECU I had to change out my original (04) wiring harness to an (07). When I did this I was told that I needed a new DESS Key Post, which i purchased. Interestingly, the there are 4 wires that run from the Dess Key Post (new) to the harness, however there were only 3 wires attached to my original Dess Key Post (old). I was instructed by another member to just hook up the 3 like colors and to leave the black/purple (1 new additional for the new post) alone and not hook it to anything. I did as instructed however when I went to start I'm getting no recognition from the system (no beeps or messages on board) that I've placed a key on the post.

Any ideas? I'm thinking that wire has to attach to something. I just don't have a wiring diagram for an '07.
