    Pump Wedge Versus Neutral Trim

There have been two posts that seem to run parallel. The post on the 2-cycle forum (and discussed here) about the pump wedge, then, there was the post about adjusting the FZ trim to a true neutral position. They both seem to make sense, but, is there still a additive gain by doing both.

With all that said, why, does Yamaha set the oem neutral position trim at 8 degrees off of true neutral?

Who knows. I often wonder why they are just now releasing supercharged 4-strokes and allowed Sea Doo to dominate the market for so many years.
