Carb cleaning and tunning HOW TO!
Can anyone go through a step by step carb cleaning and then tunning without a tachometer?
I have not worked much with carbs at all. I have a 96 SLX 780. I dont want to screw anything up by just ripping into them. I have 3 or 4 manuals but when you have never dealt with carbs many things are hard to understand.
I am new to the sport and new to small engines. It would be a great help to me and I am sure a great help to many others in the same boat here on GH. Thanks in advance for your help.

The manual should walk you through the process.
I recommend you do 1 carb at a time. That way you have another carb to refer to if you get confused.
They are quite easy to do, just take your time, and any Q's you have just ask.
