    Starter Problem

Starter dead in craft. Pulled and put on a charger and it spun. Can the starter still be bad?

If it spun, that meand the starter is turning, right?
Sounds like you have an engagement problem, like bad bandix gear one-way clutch not working or teeth shearing off.

Could be a bad start switch, bad starter relay, loose connections, etc. Could even be a locked up engine/impeller. You'll have to do some digging.

Check your battery first. Even a battery with 11 volts will sometimes not have enough juice o turn the starter over.
