    Seadoo BEST warranty... Not really the BEST?

    A friend of mine has had some overheating issues on his RXP. It was good on coolant and oil so he brought it into a dealer. They told him it sucked something up and it pretty much destroyed the supercharger and everything, but they would be able to save the engine. They told him it would be over two thousand to repair and it ISN'T covered by the warranty. They said because it happened on the water it wouldn't be covered. Any truth to this? I can't see why it wouldn't be covered.

    Exactly. I just can't comprehend how it would not be covered.

    And just exactly how did it suck something into the supercharger? Is this a stock ski? Virtually impossible. SC probably took a dump. Sounds like he needs to try another dealer.

    100% stock ski except a seat cover.

    Seat cover!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No they wont cover it.....it probably leaks water in the engine compartment....!!!

    pretty much impossible to suck something into the SC on a OEM intake.. Sounds like a SC failure to me..

    Sounds like you need to bring it to a dealership that knows what they're doing.
