Do you have a 2009 "IS"? Did you pay for your 5 year Warranty? The Seadoo website states that only new and unused 2007 & 2008 models get the 5 year.

read the website again. Under terms it says 2007, 2008, 2009 models for the 5 yr warranty.

It depends on the dealer, I am in the market for a RXT-X and I have been told by a dealer (Riva Motorsports) that I have to buy the ski for msrp in order to get the 5 years.

A was quoted by a dealer in SC $10600 for a 2008 RXT-X and when I mentioned the 5 years seadoo is offering, I was told it was going to be 500 more.

Bottom line is that you pay for it, is not included.

So I just called my dealer where I bought my RXT iS and they told me I got the 5 year warranty!! Talk about awesome! I thought it was for the 07-08 models but guess I was wrong. Anyways I am totally stoked!

Edit: I just called BRP up and have confirmed my 5 year warranty!!

Edit2: I did NOT pay for this, it is 100% free and Seadoo confirmed that it gets automatically added to ALL 07, 08, and 09 Seadoo's when they are registered with Seadoo after the vehicle is sold. Any dealer trying to charge you for it should be reported to BRP, this is directly from BRP.

I just got off the phone with BRP and was told that I needed to make sure the dealer was choosing the 5 year, is not an automatic thing, the dealer has to choose the promotion when they register it with sea-doo.
