What kind of improvements will I see with the R & D ride plate on a stock '08' STX-15F?

Not sure about the R&D, but I finally got to ride mine for the first time after installing the Shredmaster ride plate. It's as good or better than advertised. Smooth turns and much better rough water speed and handling, as well as 2.7 mph gain on top end on smooth water according to my Garmin E-Trex H. I had the Group K modded plate on before and I thought it was pretty good until I bolted on the Shredmaster.

i just tested my new R&d this week end i gain 2.8 mph(GPS) with the intake grate center bar remove.

Very satistfy but i lost the funny feeling of the rear unstable slalome of the OEM ride plate.

Has anyone else tried the Shredmaster plate? I had them on my Ultra 150's, made great improvements on handling.

I actually installed a STXR plate and noticed the difference in handling. I picked up a little speed also. The only downsides to it is no reverse and with my 150 lb son on the back it porpoises easier now that the nose is higher.
