    c-3 without bov

    anyone running c3 without bov? just installed it and have been waiting for bov and power controler too install should i run it or wait to install bov?

    you can try...mine only lasted 1hr without the bov but it also went out in 6hrs with the bov and their are many people running the c3 so flip a coin...

    What were the symptoms and did the vanes crack?

    thanks shobiz, just got back from vacation and have all the parts to fix it going to start the clutch repair tonight myself. I will try to take pics and will let everyone know how it goes.

    I havent taken it apart to see if the veins are cracked yet. I am assuming that you mean in the veins in the clutch??

    The symptoms are: no boost, low power, wont exceed 6k rpm, and the symptom that confirms that it is a clutch issue the sc wheel spins both ways.

    Yeah, not that my opinion sets the price, but personally I would be more anxious to buy if the R4/R5 were about $300 less.

    I dont no much about the Yammi's but is there S/C Gear driving like the SeaDoo, If so I think your gear is destroyed not your clutches. If you can spend the blade by your hand both ways when the charger is installed.

    supercharger is off and the gears are fine. Its a different type of clutch from the sea doo. Its a sprag clutch. I am not sure what type of clutch the doo uses?
