    07 RXP impeller and cone question

    What are the specs on a stock impeller?

    What color is the stock cone?

    What color is the stock wear ring?

    Is anyone sure about the specs on a stock impeller?

    Anyone ever seen a stock cone in gray?

    Do stock pumps typically have marks where someone has attempted to sand off the seams? (See pics)

    It's normal on the pump marks.
    Why are you questioning the prop & cone?

    Pump cones are gray....

    In all the skis I have owned with over 500 hours on them I have never had an issue like the damage I now have on this ski with only 151 hours. We know the shop we take them to swaps out parts to test (instead of keeping stock) and/or people can slip the techs some extra money to swap parts to get their skis back in the water without having to wait for parts.

    Had a problem before with a rectifier right after it went in for a s/c clutch swap. An hour after getting the ski back, the rectifier went - but the one that was in there had corrosion all over it and my skis do not have corrosion.

    So I was wondering if it was related to a parts swap (not that I can ever prove it) without having all the parts marked.

    We try for the most part but I have a 5 year warranty, so any part that's really expensive or repair, we are forced to go there. For the S/C clutch it sat in their shop for 3 weeks.

    One time after leaving there, on another ski my battery cables were not even screwed down tight....and the 10 hour service on a 2 stroke included an oil change!

    Sadly this shop is the one that rips you off the least compared to others. All service down here is a nightmare.
