    Post Aftermarket covers

    Hello!

Since i didn't found thread about aftermarket covers, so i made new one
I'm trying to choose cover for my pro1200, and what Google offer me :

    1. Discount Ramps - from 25$
made from 3 oz. 100% Marine Grade polyester
    http://www.discountramps.com/pwc-cover.htm
opinion: Deluxe Cover - Much nicer than the standard for just a little more money. Best bang-for-the-buck cover I have found.

    2. Safeguard - from 50$
made from 6 oz. 100% Marine Grade polyester
    http://www.safeguardcovers.com/Perso...-106115-ge.htm

    3. Slippery - from 80$
    made from polyester
    http://www.parkeryamaha.com/slippery...fitcovers.aspx

    4. WaveGear Extreme Classic - from 75$
    made from "ProtekX Extreme" fabric
    http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/te...questid=131342

    5. Covercraft - from 95$
    made from Sunbrella material
    http://www.parkeryamaha.com/covercra...aftcovers.aspx
opinion: covercraft only protects your pwc from the sun but it leaks water like a coffee filter

    6. Stearns - from 63$
    made from unknown
    http://www.parkeryamaha.com/stearnsu...pwccovers.aspx

maybe some one who had some of this or other aftermarket cover will share own opinion what buy and what not? Which fabric or material better?

    added:

    7. JetTribe - from 170$
made from 600D nylon Dobby, with three layers of PVC coating
    http://www.jettribe.com/layout_6-10a_040.html
opinion: JetTribe makes the best covers that I have ever encountered. It also fits like a generic cover

I have bought from Discount Ramps. Good folks up there in WI.

    Get their Deluxe Cover.

Much nicer than the standard for just a little more money. Best bang-for-the-buck cover I have found.

    Nice post

    WaveGear at Wl-Mart

I bought two of these last year. I couldn't find it at my local store but ordered online. If you have it shipped to your local store there is no charge for shipping. This is the excat smae cover that Cabelas sell for $75.

Here is their features page: http://www.jettribe.com/layout_6-10a_022.html

They use 600D nylon Dobby...with three layers of PVC coating.

This is from their customer's feedback page (thought it interesting, since it mentions several of the brands you are looking at):

" I just purchased the best protection and most durable cover for my 2006 kawasaki 15f. I tried the kawasaki OEM cover, covercraft's blue sunbrella and overton's gladiator cover; all leaked and accumulated water into my 15F's footwell. I just got this Jettribe cover for a (great deal) on ebay but regularly $149 elsewhere and it looks and fits great. It rained heavily yesterday but yet it is super dry today inside my craft. Jettribe materials used are superduty and heavy grade as compared to other brands. I highly recommend it for those who are frustrated with leaking pwc covers. overtons brand came in second and covercraft only protects your pwc from the sun but it leaks water like a coffee filter. It also fits like a generic cover."
