Easy question guys. I am looking to buy a lifting harness for my 97 GP1200. How much does it weigh ? Does anyone have a set of used harnesses that they cannot use anymore and want to get rid of ?

fully loaded it should weigh in at around 650-700 lbs.

yup. now add 90 lbs for a tank of gas, 20lbs for a battery, 10 lbs for oil, 20 lbs for the water that the seat and safety foam absorbed over the years, 10 lbs for the fire extinguisger and misc crap in the buckets, and possibly a rider. dry weight means shit.
Check this thread out. Listed dry weight of a gpr is 675lbs. turns into 830 ready to run.
