What's everyones thought?
I was wondering what everyones thoughts are on a good plate to get the best of both worlds....rough water and flat. Currently I have a R&D plate with skegs removed and Island racing angle mod...not to good for 1'-2' chop. I still have my stock rideplate and was wondering what plate may be better then the stock in flat..but still have good rough water handling.
P.S. I'm not looking for top speed in flat...just better then stock plate speed.

The 2 in between plates are the Protec and the new style Riva GP1300R
I have a GP1300R plate in very good condition that I would sell for $125 plus $15 shipping. Actually it has a couple small mods done to it so it is in better than new condition - LOL.

I can't offer much regarding the other plates, but I have a Riva plate on my ski and can't stay hooked up in the choppy stuff! I posted yesterday for help regarding handling and got recommendations to shim my trim tabs - maybe the Riva plate works well with the tabs shimmed down?
It's great in the flat water though - I'm sure not as good as the modified plates, but much better than stock!
