    difference in RXT and GTI

hey guys im newer into the seadoo world, my family recently purchased a 2007 seadoo RXT and a 2006 GTI (185hp). Now ive done alot of research and have yet to come up with a difference... is there any way to bump the horsepower up from 185 to 225 since it is the same motor that is in the RXT???

    Welcome to the Hulk.

If it is a GTI, it is 155, not 185. The GTI doesn't come with 185. Did you mean the GTX?

If it is the GTI, there are a few mods that guys have done to give it a little more power, but there isn't much you can do. You can use the search function to find some posts about GTI mods.

If it is the GTX, you have more options.

It's ALOT of work...See jpconsult's build thread, he did the same and i'm sure if you were to ask him he'd tell you it's alot of work.
Ride the 185 HP and enjoy.. or better yet you ride the RXT and let someone else worry about the 185 GTX..haha
