    Broke power valve question

Just want to say this is a great forum and I have learned a lot about my 2000 gp1200r from reading on this site.

Now to the problem. I just pulled the head on my ski due to compression being about 20 psi low on the front cylinder. After some inspection I figured out that the power valve shaft had broke and allowed the valve to drop and rub on the side of the cylinder. I was told when I bought the ski used that it had R&D powervalves, how can I tell if they are in fact R&D, stock, or something else?

I don't see R&D on it. Stock valve? The aluminum rocker part looks like the one in your picture, could that be the R&D part to avoid having to use the wave eater clips?

that is indeed a stock powervalve, the valve is one piece so no way only part of it is R&D

is the side of the linkage arm open? or closed? the R&D and SBT ones are closed to keep the pin from sliding out sideways.

The side is closed. So that saves me some money, no need to buy wave eater clips. Where is the cheapest place to buy a new power valve?

I would ask here many take-offs laying around from people upgrading to gas valves.

Anyone have a stock powervalve they want to get rid of cheap? I can't post in the classifieds yet and I need to get this running. It's finally getting warm here.
