    GPS

    I have been looking around for a gps but not sure what kind to get any suggestions.

    I have had and like both the Garmin E-trex mounted on ski and Garmin Forerunner 201 which can be worn on wrist like a watch. The 201 doesn't have mapping capabilities but is functional for speed, lap data with software computer interface. Both I've sourced through E-Bay.

    RX is right on..... you can get the 201 pretty cheap if you look around, if all you want is a speedo, and it has great mounting options. I like having a map, so I've got the Garmin 60CS with a handlebar mount.

    check Wal-Mart out as well. They will have some cheap Garmin E-Trex models too.

    i paid $100.00 for my 201 on ebay big numbers display easy to mount to just about anything

    im shopping for a GPS too, are they all waterproof? I would assume so, but I dont want to waterlog my investment.

    i dropped my 201 in 3ft water for about a hr it is all good

    They are all Waterproof: IEC 60529 IPX7 standards (submersible in one meter of water for up to 30 mins.)
