Thread: carrier bearing

1. what is the best way to slide the shaft through the carrier bearing while making sure that the seals are facing outward? If i slide the shaft through the pump facing end, I'm going to push those seals inward.
2. how easily is the shaft supposed to spin inside this bearing? Real easily or is there supposed to be some friction?
this is for a 95 xp and carrier bearing. thanks.
