Wink Adding seadoo X charger to 215 RXT

    Hi guys

Getting ready for hopefully a good summer over here, me and my dad just pulled our SC since its done 140ish hours on the original bearings.

Obviously with the SC in our hands its the perfect time to add some power

Our ski is stock (apart from metal SC washers obviously)

We have been looking at 2 options (From the GH store of course )
Get a rebuild kit and a green wheel
    ~or~
Get a whole seadoo X charger

Would these require any extra fuel mods with the std intake and intercooler?

Thanks in advance, Ian and Barry

I was told that if you are in a warm climate just the 42 injectors are required. Some insist on the RRFPR.

Were not exactly in a warm climate... lol

So do we definitely need injectors? (cash is tight)

Would also want to add an intercooler ( such as the j fizzle set up - great product ) to relize the full potential of the x charger....

Yeah thats where we are heading eventually... but since cash is tight at the moment we were hoping that we could add the X charger on its own, still restricted by the current IC and intake, and that would give us a boost, then we could unlock its potential as funds became available.

Is there a definite answer on the requirement for 42lb injectors if the SC is added on its own?

If you go with the X charger (excellent choice by the way) the 42lb injectors will work fine. If you were to add the green wheel and new washers, etc. you would almost be at the price of the X charger--and the X charger not only gives more boost, but an increase in volume of air.

Any indication of how much performance gain this will give?

Hard to say since your only other performance mod is the intake grate. You will notice and feel an increase.
