    carb oem settings 951

    Does anyone know what the factory settings are? When I got the ski it was 1/4 and 1 1/8 all stock jetting and ski... Rode today at 3/4 and 1 1/2 full tank of gas double oil turned 6780 {59.9mph}and gaining with a lazy midrange. Plugs are rich . 98 gsx limited

    1.5 turns out on the lows (some like 1.75 on the rear carb) with the highs closed (you can not really adjust them when mounted anyway. If off you can mess with them but they have caps that limit them to about 1/8 of a turn. I turn my rear carb out a little and leave the front closed.

    The setting depends on the Year and model. Older 98 1 3/4 2001 1 1/2 .. " Rode today at 3/4 and 1 1/2 full tank of gas double oil turned 6780 " If thats code and means you disabled the oil injection and are running extra oil and are running premix all bets are off. Stock settings dont count.
