Help, key no, no beep = no start

    ---edit---
well this issue has been resolved. I took the ski down to Riva (yea that was a drive but well worth it). turns out there was a voltage drop somewhere in the dess harness and the riva specs are tighter than the oem ecu. That's why it would see the oem ecu but not the riva ecu. The guys down at Riva were awsome.. nice and knowledgable. They scheduled me in a week or so in advanced, i dropped it off and in a few hours i got a call from bruce saying it was ready... so if anyone wants to open up a dealership SC would be a good place ...again Thanks to Bruce and the guys at Riva for reading about 100 private messages and all his efforts. I took the ski out and the thing runs like a bat outta hell, my Rude loves more rpm

    04 rxp.
put the key in, no beep but the info screen says seadoo on it.
ski will not start. i tried disconnecting the batter and all that.

sounds like a reprogram key issue, hope not cause the dealer is 4 weeks behind already.

Put a charge on the battery and make sure its not shot. I had and a lot of others have had things like that happen when the battery just decides to go.

Mine does that sometimes...i have to wiggle it around on the post and it'll eventually beep twice to start. Mine does it because when i got tossed off when re boarding i kind of smashed it when i kneeled on it climbing back on.

If you can possibly swap your ecu and key with someone else just to see if it's an issue elsewhere. If it still does it you know your key is good.
