    Novi Carbs Dripping

    I noticed on one of my carbs that it is dripping quite a bit of fuel from the thing ??? in the center of the carb any ideas

    Maybe check the condition of the checkvalve. Some have needed to actually double them up due to the nasty domestic vibration.

    Something to check anyhow.

    Usually they won't appear "bad" I've seen them with that nasty brown dry chalky crap on or around them, but thats from corrosion coming from the screw, and old gas. I'm doubting you have that problem though.

    Bad drip.

    Bob,
    Possibly the float valve is bad after sitting all winter? Check the P.O. pressure in all (3) carbs, then replace the dripping needle and seat with another of the same size and re-check for correct P.O... Then re-install and see if the problem goes away? Often the rubber tip harden after sitting, and they won't seal correctly.. If that doesnt work, try the cam chain tensioner.... Haha!
