Its a 93 SL650 with 750 pistons and jugs, stock bore. Good compression numbers across all 3. It has a used 780 carb with a built in return restrictor, fresh diaphragms, the internals look good. To be honest, im not even sure what jets im running... I think they were 95 750 stock jets. It has a 93 drypipe, TDR waterbox, stock F/A, replaced stator that ohms out good...

It always ran great on the trailer, and never ran right in the water. It would have throttle response up to about 1/2 throttle, and beyond that produces a bogging sound and it sometimes wants to die. It did this with the stock 120/120/30 compression (yes, 30), and carb, and is STILL doing it with new pistons and jugs, and a new carb, reeds, heads...

Heres a video of what its doing on the water. If it sounds odd at idle, disregard that, I was messing with the carb settings.

If you pump the choke, it takes off RIGHT away generally. It has 1-2 PSI fuel pressure at idle, and im not sure what its making currently at WOT, but im sure its 3-5 where it was before, assuming you pump the choke. It will go for about 5-10 seconds at WOT after you pump the choke, then it usually goes back to its 1/2 throttle bogging state, or starts to bog HARD and requires finesse to keep it running. Its becoming increasingly obvious that I dont know what im doing, and I cant figure out how to make this thing work! HELP!
