Running Lean @ idle
Had Rude 1 with FPR set at 64 psi last year and it ran fine. Added Rude 2 and Wallboro 255 fuel pump and now the ski is idling at 12.9+ on the AF meter and acting like it is running on 2 cylinders. Swapped the 42 injectors for a set of 48s in case the 42s were clogged. Swapped fuel rails also and no better. You can hear the fuel pump cut on and with the fuel line off the fuel rail, it seems to be pumping the gas but even with the FPR cranked up a little more cant get AF below 12.9 at idle. Any ideas? Bad fuel pump? ECU took a chit? List of mods
42 lbs injectors - Tried 482 also

I think everyone I know running the Rude2 is running 50 lb injectors!

12.9 at idle is far from lean.... you engine is not under load.
The most important number you are looking for is at WOT. Target afr is 11.7 to 11.9.
Idle at 12.9 is great. Having a midrange in the high 13's is not uncommon.

What else may be causing the sputtering, running on 2 cylinder problem? So 12.9 = 13.5 is ok at idle? The plugs looks SOOO dry. I did not put it back in the water with the 48s. May be a clogged injector was the issue. Jerry, with the Wallboro pump and FPR, can I run 42s with the Rude 2? Is there a number at idle that should be alarming?

You won't have enough fuel with the 42's.

I may but would have expected a wet plug if that were the case but I may be wrong. Not sure
