RnD intake grate, more cavitation?!
Did take the r12-x on the first test runt after mounting the RnD intake grate. The first thing i noticed was that i cant give full throttle before the pwc gets some speed, i have to go on 30% throttle the first 25mph or else i get cavitation :S
Also if i do a fast turn its the same thing, no fun at all..... A fast turn and i stand still :S
Anyone else has this problems? What can i do? Is it just to trow the RnD away and put on the honda oem intake grate again?
The summer has arrived in Sweden and i want to beat the shit out of my r12x on the waters here now

Make sure you have completely sealed the rear of the intake grate as the front of the ride plate uses the same sealant to seal.
If there is even a small air leak through this area the pump tunnel will draw air from on top of the ride plate causing cavitation.

I had the same problem! You need to seal the hell out of it and it will be good, don't be afraid to use some silicone!!

agreed, seal it up and it works pretty darned well for Chinese garbage. I like the way both my ski's run with it.
