    Error code p1517

    Can i in anyway reset the code p1517(compass out of range) it is on a rxp'04 and i have no compass,or could anything else cause the code,fuse,wirring,connectors checked,also the vts is not working

    I have it fired up many times over the last few days in my driveway with and without the hose on,nothing wrong,when i got the beach it fired right up,nothing.
    As soon as i hit the water i could not fire it up and it shows the code,
    wtf Anyone who know what happen,no water or any sign in the hull???

    Compass out of range......Faulty sensor or wires...

    Ignore the code and consider yourself Blessed There is No compass on an '04 Lucky you SOB some people have to pay for that extra $$$$$$ I am curently waiting for the "POS" code that Nils and Snowman promised me on my '04 RXP I wonder what's taking so long

    Lars, just kidding....go to your nearest Sea Doo dealership and let them hook it to the Buds system and clear the code. Sorry Bro, that's the only way to go.......Jammer 1 FYI, The brain they used for our ski, 2004-2007 is the same. inside the Brain is all the functions. Sometimes it wakes up in the middle of a ride.......sort of my ex-wife, thinking she is Paris Hilton.........I just closed my eyes and.......Dream on.......
