    Welcome to the Hulk

Click here for the Polaris Service manuals.

Check the voltage on the Red/Purple wire to the LR module while cranking. Is it the same 11ish volts as at the battery during cranking?

If Red/Purple has proper voltage during cranking, move the CDI Red/Purple wire temporarily to connect to the other Red/Purple wires? Does it start now?

The other thing to check is the ground connections. Check/clean both ends of the battery negative cable, and confirm zero ohms from the black wires/ground inside the electrical box, to the battery negative post (with positive post disconnected).

    Looks like this one.

LR-505 voltage regulator module, also called the single button Start/Stop module.

OK the little box on top of the cdi. thanks man trying it right now. Still new to pwc's I've worked on lots of 4 wheelers and bikes though.

Clamp your volt meter negative probe to the battery negative. That way if you have a bad ground, it will be easier to find.

During cranking, the engine block should have zero volts, relative to the battery negative post. Same for the black wires and ground plates of the CDI and LR-505 module.

red/purple wire from the lr has 12.5v when not cranking and 11.3 while cranking. swaped the red/purple leads still no spark. no voltage from ground on batt. to block

res. from the neg batt post to the engine block and grounds in the electrical box are around 2.0 to 2.4oms
