    Clutch repair

I started the repair today and got the oil pump off no problem. But, I dont quite know how to hold the driveshaft so that I can unbolt it? I thought about putting something into the impeller to hold it but I dont want to damage it. what is the best way?

    Thanks

rear of the motor, coupler from motor to midshaft. I think most midshafts have a knotch you can hold with a wrench.

There is a plastic cover over it which you'll probably have to remove.

Well I got the old clutch out and the new clutch in today!!! all I have to do it put everything back together!!

I have some pictures of the broken clutch. Its not cracked or anything it just looks like the inside ring spun and half of the sprags dont function properly, if that makes sence.

I am glad that MJ3ides and shobiz convinced me to do this myself. it was really quite easy and I did have fun doing it. I wont be back to the stealer anytime soon but maybe to pick up parts. thanks everyone for your help couldn't/wouln't have done it without ya!!

    pics to come soon...
