    Exclamation Laptop choices

Hey guys. I am going to order a laptop tonight, thats when the deal gets done, but I can't decide which is the smarter choice. I want one that is fast enough, is good for movies, traveling, and college use. I have about an $800 spending limit. Its between the Lenovo IdeaPad Y530 - 40516DU, second one from the left on this page http://shop.lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/c...3478C029C7FB72

Or the Lenovo IdeaPad Y550 - 418644U which is the third one from the right on this page http://shop.lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/c...4C5680E9B35C96

Each has its perks, I really like the looks on the Y 550 more though, and the price is better, but the Y 530 has a faster CPU, but is lacking the extra 1 gig of RAM...but then the Y 530 has a better video card, but I am not so worried about that because I will be taking my gaming rig to college as well. I would be saving about $150 by goin with the Y 550. Any input would be great. Thanks

What is the warranty with each laptop? I'm sure it's probably 1 year each, but that's a huge factor for me. What kind of games do you play? What kind of video cards do they have? What kind of hard drives do they have? Most of the uses you'll have for the laptop, I'm sure either one will work nicely. Games will however be the deciding factor for you by the sounds of it.

nothing hardcore, and it would only be while away from my desktop, because my desktop will run any game basically, and I will have that at college also.

ok, I think I narrowed it down to two laptops. Both are from MSI, they are gaming laptops. This way I have a laptop that I can game with, and I can leave my huge PC at home. Its between this one - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834152095 and this one - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834152099

The only difference I see in them is one has a bluray drive, and the other has just the standard DVD drive. Do you guys think it will be worth an extra $100 for a bluray drive? Oh, I just realized that the second option also has a better native resolution, that might actually be worth the extra $100 for the better picture quality.
