    code 47 - running hot?

I got a "code 47" on a 2002 R-12x this weekend. I happened pushing two people, high drag, before planing the boat out.

What happened was described in the manual:
"Engine operates below 3,000 rpm when the coolant temperature
    is 85 95C (185 203F)"

Should the motor tach up past 3k if temp reaches below 185 or should I expect to have to restart?

I shut down, started right back up and no problem. The fact that the restart cleared it is odd, as I'd expect it to heat soak. The pisser on the Honda is fine. Anything to check here?

    There was never a F12x in 2001.

The F12x was first introduced as a 2002 model.
The R12x was first introduced as a 2003 model.

I'm asking what do you have as they are both different.

    Sorry, guys... You're right.. It's F-12X (3-seat).

    Any ideas on the code?
