Question Need help replacing starter for 96 Daytona 770

Have a bad starter. Heard these were hard to get to on the little shark.

I bought a heavy duty high torque starter to hopefully not have to deal with this again.

Anyone know where I can get the manual for this baby or any tips/tricks to replace the starter?

I just pulled the stater on my 97 ts 1000 daytona last night. It's tight, but basically pull the carb rail off, take the intake/reed cage off cyc 1 & 2, and there are two bolts that hold the starter in. You might need to use a prybar to get the starter out of the engine.

I'm looking for a manual for mine as well.

I think I had seen manuals for them on ebay.
