    Grips for the X

I'm not happy with the rxpx grips, just way to hard for me. Can i get atv grips or such? I did a couple searches and didn't come up with much. I'm not looking to replacing my bars, just looking for something make work with the stock bars. Thanks

    Phil

Take a look at the ODI grips. They should work for you.

First time I rode my hands were bleeding (I work out but always wear gloves) Since then I bought some inexpensive AXO riding gloves off of Ebay and wear them all the time when I ride.

I also got some ODI grips for my p=x. I got the shorter ones and fitment was still a problem. I had to take off the "X" steering pad to get them to fit on all the way.

My plan was to just buy a cross bar pad for the stock X bars, but that didn't work well so I got a nice set of Renthal bars. Pretty much the same throw, but they have an extra 2" on each side of the bars.

    Here's a couple pics.....

    two types of ODI's though

I have the X-treme and they are not soft, they are a thinner rubber compound than my buddies Rogue's. THe Rogue's are THICKER, SOFTER and MORE COMFORTABLE in my experience. My X-Treme's are good for my SHORT / FAT fingers though!

The Grips on PDXRealtor's X above are the Rogues 'more comfortable'....

The rogues are very soft and if you wear gloves they wear out in about a season but if i'm not mistakenthey're only about $15 to replace and they're way easier to remove and install than anything that glues on.
