your looking at $25-35 for a new key and it takes them about 5 mins to program it to your MPEM...you dont have to provide anything to the dealer besides cash for the key. probly a good idea to get two this time

A float maybe. Though it should not have sunk anyway.

oem DESS keys are running $45+ at your local dealer. Some dealers charge for programming-- some don't. After market DESS keys are also available at a reduced cost at some dealers.

You will need to bring your ski in ready to run condition-- battery installed and charged, cash for the key and possible $$ for the programming.

I've heard of dealerships charging up to one hour of labor for them programmed and then some doing it for free, guess it depends on how lucky you are.

    MPEM and Key

My local dealer knew I was buying an MPEM from EBay and I waited to buy everything else I needed so that I could buy the oil, jet pump lube, decals, all at the same time he reprogrammed the key to the new MPEM. He didn't charge me anything for the reprogramming and the MPEM fixed my "no spark" condition! I was one happy guy!!!!

Dealers should verify ownership. Either a current registration or title. We do. Some we did by checking with Seadoo to see who is the registerd owner in their records if they didnt bring Registration and the Ski is fairly new..
