best exhaust while still keeping O.P.A.S
im after a better exhaust set-up for my nearly stock rxp-x.ive got a worx grate on it just now and thinking about the x-charger upgrade.
as far as i know pirannas through hull is the only option??anyone tested it yet?
as i understand the free-flow pipe has little or no gains and an annoying resonating noise.
i will also gut the stock water box.
so would gutting the stock water box and fitting whatever through hull gain any pick-up?

I think gutting the box will provide a few RPM increase, but mostly throttle response and deeper tone. I appreciate the through-hull exhaust does not provide MUCH gain.
NOTE: Free-flow exhaust does have the resonance at 3000 RPM, but think about it...how often are you at 3,000 RPM? I am usually at idle (1,800), cruising (6,000 or slightly less) or WOT (8,100). I usually pass 3,000 RPM very quickly!
