    Poor running at idle (Injected Model)

    Be sure to check and clean your flame arrestors before chasing injectors, plugs etc. I had one today that ran like crap (poor idle and engine surge), plugs were black and compression was good.
    The flame arrestors were so bad you could not see through them, once cleaned the idle settled back down to normal and the idle smoothed out. Acceleration was now crisp and she idled down quickly.

    How would a flame arrestor get plugged up - off-roading in a PWC?

    Are you resurfacing, or going back undercover?

    I'm back on a plane in very short order, I'll be back in 2-4 months and then I'm putting in my notice...tooooo much travel for me.

    It seems impossible to plug a flame arrestor but this thing couldn't even be seen through, a good cleaning and all was good.

    I sure miss the site and all the wonderful members...looking good K447, looking good!!
