    Flame Arrestor Outerwear waterproof?

Has anyone wondered like I did if the outerwear covers on my flame arrestors really did stop water from getting through.

they will limit the waters ability to penetrate the flame arrestor however they rob major rpm, 200+ rpm in my case so I got rid of mine.

they are not water proof only water resistant, i.e they repel it somewhat

Great video..Like i always said. Those things are worthless.. They restrict more air than water from your engine..
How outerwears sold the public on their product ill never know.
The flame arrestors sole purpose in life is to snuff out a flame in case of a backfire or sneeze.
Many think the flame arrestors themselves also stop water from entering your engine. They dont..

I couldn't ride because I was waiting for new gaskets to arrive so yes I did have too much free time!

I guess I can't sell mine either now, didnt know about the RPM loss I may be able to hit 60 MPH now if I can gain 200 RPM!!
