1998 stx 1100
i have a 1998 stx100 i replaced the piston closest to the exhaust but for the life of me i cannot put the 3 pistons back in the cylinder head .....what a pain is there a trick or tool im missing? any help would be greatly appreciated

a tripple monoblock is a pita to do in the hull.
there are a couple tricks, an extra set of hands help.
rotate the crank so that (trying to remember from memory) the front goes in first then middle then rear. you can use screw clamps to secure the rings to the pistons and squish them down as you slip them in or you can do them by hand but i always strain a tenden in my hand when i do it because you have to reach around the rod and squeeze the rings in the grooves and slip the cylinder down but not too far so you can get the others in.
they make some piston ring compressors for four strokes, we have a set of those we use too.
