    seadoo RXX counterbalance shaft oil level

    Hi, i'm a new owner of a seadoo RXX and i wanted to check everything before riding it... so anybody can tell me where can i find my counterbalance shaft oil level on it... what kid of oil do i put inside, witch side of the engine left, right, front or rear... please...? there's not a lot of room, i start looking arround but i didnt see the plug to fill it... i saw lots of pics of it but i dont know exactly where to look for it like front left or front right when i'm looking from the back of the ski ? thanks guys...

    The fill/check plug is on the right side of the cases(if sitting on the seat), but it is buried underneath the the twin pipe coupler to the waterbox and you wont get to it to check it or fill it...Plus it is at an angle so the oill level would be misleading....

    Yeah, but some people like to check it...Not sure why???

    If you are feeling adventourous and want to try to fill/check it...the required amount is 1 oz of 30 weight motor oil...Not 2 stroke oil

    30w oil

    Welcome to the forum.
    As mentioned above, use 30w oil, if you plan to check it.

    Sounds like the easiest way is to pull the engine then... Ron

    And have fun putting the twins back in....And you have to have a custom 8mm allen wrench to remove the bolts for the exhaust head pipes....
