Last year i experienced some problems with my ski after a day or riding. It started to run for a few seconds then shut down, or it would shut down when the throttle was touched. It also backfired if it wouldn't start up.

Pulled everything apart, found a metal piece on the magneto, but could not trace it to anything. I am not sure if it could have been in there when i reassembled it last time. My thought was that the metal piece was doing something inside the magneto throwing the timing off. Originally, when i posted my problem on greenhulk last year several of the responses were to check the timing, i have done that and timing looks great and there is spark on the plugs.

I assume the next check point would be fuel delivery? Any suggestions? Fuel seperator? Carbs? ????? Please help!! Thanks
